Uniting AgeWell was proud to once again sponsor the prestigious Camberwell Art Show, celebrating creativity, connection and the joy that art brings to our community. 

This partnership reflects Uniting AgeWell’s commitment to the local communities around Hawthorn and gives residents from our Hawthorn and Condare Court Communities, along with participants in our Social Connections Program, the opportunity to enjoy the show. 

Now in its 61st year, the Camberwell Art Show has raised more than $3 million since its inception to support the Camberwell Rotary Club’s local, national and international humanitarian projects. 

This year, more than 1,000 paintings by many of Australia’s leading artists filled the exhibition at Carey Baptist Grammar School from 4–12 July. With works spanning a wide range of styles, tastes and budgets, there was something to delight everyone, from seasoned collectors to curious first-time visitors. 

The Uniting AgeWell stand invited visitors to discover our services while enjoying the vibrant collection of artwork on display. 

The joy, curiosity and conversation sparked by each piece were a wonderful reminder of why Uniting AgeWell’s diverse lifestyle programs, including art and art therapy, are so valuable in enriching lives and nurturing connection. 

Opening night guests included Acting General Manager Marketing and Community Relations Natalie Dillon, Project Lead Social Connections Group Susanne Walker, and Acting Chief Operating Officer Home Care & Community Services Sherry-Ann Bailey.
