Volunteer
Volunteers make a meaningful difference at Uniting AgeWell, playing an integral role in supporting the wellbeing of our customers and enhancing the services we provide.
Opportunities
Lifestyle activities and entertainment
Volunteers make a valuable contribution at our residential care communities, supporting the day-to-day lifestyle activities and community connections that bring joy and events to life.
Social Connections
Support the social connections goals of older people in the community through our Social Connections groups and one-on-one programs. Volunteers support people to engage with the activities they enjoy.
Transport
Whether it’s grocery shopping, appointments or outings, transport is essential. Volunteers assist older people in our community to get to their destination and return home safely.
Virtual roles
Facilitate social catch ups and activities remotely through our phone based programs Chat-A-Ring or Telelink.
Office administration
Many Uniting AgeWell volunteer opportunities are available behind-the-scenes to support our operations. In some cases, volunteering can even be the first step into a new career pathway.
Tech support
Support our customers to connect and live independently through learning their preferred technology at home.
