2025 Year in Review

2025 was a year of unprecedented growth and investment in the future of Uniting AgeWell and the services we provide.

To meet future aged care demand, Uniting AgeWell invested in additional residential capacity, including:

  • Opening a new 30-bed wing at Strath-Haven Community in Victoria
  • Opening a new 30-bed wing at Morning Community, Lillian Martin in Tasmania
  • Opening a new 52-bed wing at Rosetta Community, Strathaven in Tasmania
  • Welcoming Latvian Community
  • A brand-new 48-bed wing under construction at Sorell Community, Ningana
  • Solar panel installation at Newnham Community, Aldersgate Village

Uniting AgeWell continues to support the health and wellness of older Australians in VIctoria and Tasmania. In 2025, we have opened four new community hubs with AgeWell gyms, making it easier for people to connect with our home and community services.

By the end of 2025, Uniting AgeWell is the 10th largest Home Care Package provider nationally. Australian consumers have voted us to be the most trusted brand for Home Care in Victoria and Tasmania. The Department of Health, Disability, and Ageing has reached out to Uniting AgeWell to support Annecto customers who were impacted by their closure. Our team has onboarded an overwhelming number of affected customers over three weeks with dedicated Home-Care Information Drop-in sessions.
