- All units are fully renovated and include a reverse cycle split system for heating and cooling
- All residents are issued with a pendant that will connect them with the residential site in the event of an emergency 24/7
- Daily fees apply and cover building insurance, land rates, water rates, maintenance (on our property) and gardening
- Residents are responsible for their own utility fees

Access support, as and when you need it
- Uniting AgeWell Home Care support including cleaning, personal care, ironing and shopping may be provided, if requested. These services are available on a fee-for-service basis, or through a Federal Government-funded Home Care Package
- If you are caring for a partner, respite and social support options are also available at the adjoining Uniting AgeWell Strathdon Community
- Access to allied health services is also available on site
- When the time comes, Uniting AgeWell makes the sometimes difficult process of moving into residential aged care seamless. Priority is given to independent retirement living residents
I love everything about Strathdon – it’s such a lovely, friendly, secure atmosphere and the community is great.
Everything I need is here. I just came from the on-site hairdresser, who is wonderful, and there is a café here. One of the main advantages is having an on-site chapel so I can ride my mobility scooter to worship services instead of relying on someone to pick me up and take me to church. If I come home late at night I always feel secure because it’s so well-lit and there’s always someone around. It’s comforting to know that if I can’t cope any longer in the unit, there is the aged care residence on-site.
