At Uniting AgeWell, we don’t just talk about person-centred care. Everything we do is about making a difference for those we care for and ensuring we meet their goals and expectations.
We care deeply about our residents and clients and their families. Our team of more than 3,100 staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality care and support to clients and strive to improve their lives and wellbeing every day.
Whether at a residential care site, a day centre or someone’s home, our staff offer welcoming and supportive environments for our clients. From a friendly smile or a heartfelt chat, to creating wonderful experiences and providing the best possible care available, our staff put the client and their needs first.
All our staff are fully qualified and experienced. Uniting AgeWell also understands the importance of ongoing training for all its employees. Our Learning and Development team provide staff with opportunities to maintain and build their skills and ensure they remain at the forefront of service delivery, and that clients continue to receive the best care and support.
We employ people in 152 different roles – from hotel services and administration to nurses, chaplains and care workers. Uniting AgeWell celebrates diversity and has inclusive work practices and policies to ensure our staff always feel welcome, valued and respected.

The AgeWell Awards celebrate Uniting AgeWell staff who lead by example, who inspire others through their commitment to supporting people to live and age well and consistently demonstrate Uniting AgeWell’s values and BEST principles in their work and actions.
This year, 22 Finalists for the eight categories were selected from over 275 nominations, after a rigorous process of confirmation and assessment by members of the Senior Executive Team.
