We know how important it is to remain active, socially connected and living independently.
Uniting AgeWell offers a range of community programs and supports to help you achieve your goals, giving you easy access to the services you need.
This could be attending a weekly activity group at one of our community centres, or joining a Tai Chi or gym class to help build your strength and resilience. You may need an allied health service such as podiatry or physiotherapy. Or you may need respite from your caring duties. We can help you develop the right program to reach your goals.
At Uniting AgeWell, we offer:
Social support - to help you remain connected
Respite and carer support – caring for seniors in the community, and those who are caring for them
Allied health and therapy services – support to remain active as you age
Our services and programs are funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
My Aged Care coordinates all assessments and referrals for community services programs across Australia.
If you would like to join one of our Social Connections programs, you can contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or through myagedcare.gov.au.
However, if you would like information or assistance with this process, Uniting AgeWell can help.
