Our Community Hub in Burwood East has been specially designed to help you meet your health and wellness goals, connect with new people and continue living independently.

Staying healthy and active

Meet our friendly team at the Community Hub, Burwood East.

Join one of our regular group classes including yoga and meditation, Pilates and Tai Chi.

Our group fitness programs include Steady Standers, Bone Builders and ExerciseWell.

Access restorative allied health services including podiatry, rehabilitation and health maintenance programs.

Modern AgeWell Gym

Our fully-equipped gym is specifically designed for older people, whether you want to join a group exercise class or be guided by one of our allied health professionals.

Home Care office

If it’s time to consider getting a little extra help at home, pop into our on-site home care office for information and advice. We can also help you navigate My Aged Care to check your eligibility for our services.

Community room

Connect with others in our community room, complete with a coffee bar and lounge area. It’s the perfect opportunity to kick back and relax with old and new friends alike.

Visiting us

Anyone is welcome to join our Social Connections program.

Subsidies and greater clinical care may be available for people who:

  • are aged 65 years and over
  • are aged 50 years and are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • have carers who require respite
  • live alone and are assessed as being at risk of social isolation or depression
  • have an assessed health concern that requires rehabilitation or restorative assistance.

To access subsidised services, you’ll need to be registered, assessed and referred by My Aged Care. No referral is required for clients who are self-funded.
