Uniting AgeWell was recognised for its excellence in aged care at the Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards in Hobart.
Uniting AgeWell was a finalist for the prestigious Prime Super Employer Excellence in Aged Care Award, which recognised an organisation with a strong focus on staff engagement, safety and wellbeing, training and providing staff with higher education learning opportunities and development.
Uniting AgeWell’s nomination highlighted its dedicated Education and Training, its aspiration to get a Rainbow Tick certification of LGBTI inclusivity, the organisation’s Employer of Choice for women status and the leadership training of managers and Registered Nurses.
CEO Andrew Kinnerlsy joined General Manager Tasmania Jane Johnston and other Tasmanian staff at the awards ceremony on December 1.
The award was taken out by Masonic Care Tasmania for its staff Health and Wellbeing Program.
Uniting AgeWell would like to congratulate Masonic Care Tasmania for its efforts and thank the 2017 Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards for its recognition.
