The easing of restrictions in Melbourne to align with regional Victoria is very welcome news for everyone in the community. These past weeks have certainly been very challenging for residents and families, particularly those living in different restriction zones who have been unable to visit.
And while there is a sense of relief and optimism that people can now leave their homes for any reason, there are still limitations in place with respect to particular activities, gatherings and visitors to your home, with the key message being to Stay Safe and remain vigilant.
Our absolute priority continues to be the health, safety and wellbeing of every resident in our care.
To safeguard residents, our ongoing preference is for virtual visits and contact via electronic means to continue as the safest form of connection between residents and families, which is also reflected in the Victorian Government Care Facilities Directions (No 16).
Where face-to-face visits are essential, pre-booked visits can be arranged by calling the site.
